​In 2018, Nicholas and Julie Harrison launched what would soon become one of Barbados’ most trusted names in ocean experiences--Nauti Dreams Fishing, Snorkeling & Cruising Charters. It began with a single boat, a passion for the sea, and a clear vision: to offer unforgettable adventures that blended local culture, warm hospitality, and the stunning beauty of Barbados' coastline. Through years of hard work, word of mouth, and dedication to quality, the business grew. By 2024, Nauti Dreamsoperated a fleet of three boats, providing premium fishing trips, snorkeling tours, and cruising experiences to both locals and tourists alike. But even as Nauti Dreams thrived on the water, a new idea was beginning to form--a land-based home for the brand. Guests often asked where they could relax after their charter, enjoy the fish they caught, or simply continue the island vibe with good food and great company. That idea became the seed for a bold new chapter: Nauti HQ & Grill. As Nicholas and Julie began planning this new venture in late 2024, they knew they needed someone with passion, energy, and a shared vision to help bring it to life. That’s when Brendon McKenzie came on board. Brendon, a longtime friend and respected name in the hospitality and entertainment scene, brought a fresh perspective and a dynamic spark to the team. With his deep understanding of customer experience, strong work ethic, and infectious personality, Brendon became a key figure in the development and launch of Nauti HQ. He was instrumental in shaping not just the vibe of the space, but also its identity—a place where sea adventures met laid-back, coastal dining. Together, the trio set out to build something special. Inspired by the easy beach charm and the rich spirit of Barbados, Nauti HQ & Grill was designed with whitewashed surfaces, turquoise tones, metal finishes, and rustic wood touches. It felt like a beachfront escape—simple, stylish, and welcoming. The menu featured fresh fish straight off the Nauti Dreams boats, grilled to perfection and served alongside tropical cocktails, beach-inspired bites, and island classics. Everything about Nauti HQ was built around authenticity—whether you came in barefoot after a fishing charter or dressed up for sunset drinks. In early 2025, after months of planning, building, and dreaming, Nauti HQ & Grill officially opened its doors. From day one, the response was incredible. Guests flowed seamlessly from sea to shore—finishing their charter trips and walking straight into a place that felt like home. Locals embraced it as a new go-to hangout. Visitors made it a must-stop on every return trip to Barbados. And at the heart of it all were Nicholas, Julie, and Brendon—leading with passion, purpose, and a shared commitment to excellence. Today, Nauti HQ & Grill stands not just as a restaurant, but as the heart of the Nauti brand.
